Furthermore, this Privacy Notice covers the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your information when you choose to opt into Gling Gling Pay (“Gling Gling Pay“). It also explains the choices available to you regarding the use of your information, the precautions we take to protect personal information, and how you can contact us to inquire about our privacy practices.

This Privacy Notice is applicable only to the handling of information obtained from you under the following circumstances:
- When you interact with Gling Gling through the use of our Buyer Features. This includes providing information for digital receipts, Seller marketing, or Gling Gling Local Offers, as well as accessing the Gling Gling profile portal.
- When you utilize Gling Gling Pay. This refers to saving your contact and payment information with Gling Gling to facilitate a smoother checkout process with Your Sellers, provided the Seller employs Gling Gling Pay.
Exclusion of this Privacy Notice:
This Privacy Notice does not apply when Gling Gling processes your information as a service provider to Your Sellers. In such cases, a separate privacy notice is applicable, which can be found here. When you make purchases from Your Sellers, we collect specific information on behalf of the Sellers as their payment processor. This may include:
- Your signature and payment card details, such as card number, expiration date, and security code.
- Transaction specifics, such as the date, location, parties involved, transaction description, payment or transfer amounts, and the devices and payment methods used.
- Gift cards you purchase or receive.
- Billing and shipping addresses.
We obtain this information on behalf of Your Sellers to provide them with payment processing services. Your relationship with the respective Seller governs how they utilize and share this information, including with Gling Gling. Each Seller maintains its own privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their privacy statements to understand the information they may collect about you. If you have any inquiries regarding a Seller’s privacy practices, please direct them to the Seller directly.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
We utilize your data to improve Gling Gling’s products and services for your benefit and the benefit of others. The following outlines the data we collect about you, which may vary based on your location.
Information Provided by You
When you engage in a transaction with a Seller and request a digital receipt, consent to receiving marketing communications from Your Sellers, or sign up for Gling Gling Local Offers, we gather identifying information such as:
- Your email address.
- Your telephone number.
- Transaction history, including payment amount, items purchased, and the Seller involved.
- Any additional information you provide.
If you opt-in to Gling Gling Pay, you may furnish us with specific information referred to as “Gling Gling Pay Information,” including:
- Full name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- Payment card details and billing address.
- Shipping address and preferred shipping method.
Through the Gling Gling profile portal, you have the option to provide us with additional information, such as an alternate email address, telephone number, or details shared during interactions with Customer Support, including chatbots operating within our services.
Information Collected from Your Usage of the Gling Gling Profile Portal
When you access the Gling Gling profile portal, we collect information regarding your device, browsing activities, and usage patterns. The data obtained through this process may encompass:
- Identifiers, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, online identifier, and unique personal identifier (including device identifier, cookies, beacons, pixel tags, mobile ad identifiers, and similar technologies; customer number, unique pseudonym, or user alias; and other forms of persistent or probabilistic identifiers)

We utilize your data for various purposes, including sending you transaction-related information, assessing the compatibility of our services in your country, safeguarding your data, combating fraud, complying with legal requirements, exploring opportunities for new product development, and assisting your Seller in marketing to you.
Advertising and Email Marketing
- Displaying your masked information in Your Sellers’ directory.
- Sending promotional email messages on behalf of Your Sellers or from Gling Gling.
Providing, Improving, and Developing our Products and Services
- Delivering Buyer Features and Gling Gling Pay, including digital receipts, Gling Gling Local Offers, and automatic population of Gling Gling Pay Information when transacting with Sellers using Gling Gling Pay.
- Operating, evaluating, developing, managing, and improving our business, which includes administering, analyzing, and enhancing Buyer Features, Gling Gling Pay, and other products and services; creating new products and services; assessing the effectiveness of our communications; and conducting internal functions like accounting, auditing, and billing.
- Personalizing and facilitating your usage of Buyer Features or Gling Gling Pay.
- Conducting analytics, including tracking and evaluating trends and usage of Gling Gling’s various products and services, and aggregating and deidentifying personal information.
- Conducting internal research.
Communicating with You
- Automatically sending digital receipts for future purchases made from Your Sellers and enabling Your Sellers to send you email messages via Gling Gling, based on your preferences.
- Communicating with you regarding Buyer Features or Gling Gling Pay and providing information we believe may be valuable to you.
- Responding to your requests and inquiries.
- Conducting surveys and gathering feedback about Buyer Features or Gling Gling Pay.
Protecting our Services and Maintaining a Trusted Environment
We employ your information to ensure the security and reliability of our services and to maintain a trusted environment. This includes:
- Conducting investigations, complying with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and responding to lawful requests for information from the government or legal processes.
- Contacting you to resolve disputes and assist you with Buyer Features or Gling Gling Pay.
- Debugging to identify and fix errors that impact the functionality of our services.

Digital receipts may contain additional messages, offers, or links that could be relevant to you. For instance, you may have the option to provide feedback to a Seller, share your experience on social media, view your purchase history, participate in programs, visit websites, or take advantage of promotions. When you submit or share information through a receipt (such as providing feedback), we may share that information with Your Sellers, and you may receive responses from them. If you wish to opt out of receiving automatic digital receipts or modify your preferences regarding digital receipts or marketing, please refer to the “Your Choices” section below.
WHEN AND WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We share your information with various parties in the circumstances described in this section. This includes sharing information with people you interact with when using our services (such as Your Sellers), within our family of companies, with service providers who assist us in operating our services, and when required by law.
Here are the categories of service providers and third parties with whom we may share the information described in the “Information We Collect About You” section:
With Your Sellers
- We share the contact information you provide for a digital receipt with the Sellers you visit afterward.
- When you use Gling Gling Pay to process a transaction with a Seller using Gling Gling Pay, we provide the Seller with your Gling Gling Pay Information to facilitate order processing and fulfillment. Please refer to the Seller’s privacy policy to understand how they use this information.
With our Affiliates and Group Companies
We share information with our group companies and corporate affiliates, for the purposes outlined earlier. This may include sharing information to provide Gling Gling Local Offers or loyalty rewards, understanding your engagement with Gling Gling company products, and protecting our services.
With our Service Providers
We share information with service providers who assist us in providing, maintaining, and improving our services. This includes service providers involved in advertising campaigns, contests, special offers, and other events or activities on our behalf.
With Advertising Partners
We share information with advertising partners for interest-based or targeted advertising campaigns. Additionally, we may share information with advertising partners who analyze our site, run contests, special offers, or other events or activities, and track metrics on our behalf or on behalf of your Gling Gling Seller. Our analytics partners, assist us with the Gling Gling profile portal and Gling Gling Pay. We may share your site-use information, including your IP address, with these analytics providers and other service providers to help us understand how you and others use our Gling Gling profile portal.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We store your information for as long as you use our products and services. Once you cease using our offerings, we retain your data for the necessary duration to carry out activities such as preventing fraud, collecting outstanding fees, enabling Your Sellers to make use of Gling Gling services for their business operations, resolving disputes involving you, fulfilling legal obligations, enforcing our agreements, and protecting our rights in a court of law.
The retention of your information aligns with the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice. This includes providing our services to you, adhering to relevant laws and legal obligations, safeguarding our legal rights, property, and users. We may keep copies of information pertaining to you, your transactions, or the services you have utilized for a period of time that conforms to specific criteria, such as applicable laws, statutes of limitations, or as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests. Furthermore, retaining information may be essential to facilitate Your Sellers’ continued use of Gling Gling services for their business, detect or prevent fraudulent activities, collect outstanding fees, resolve disputes, address service-related issues, assist in investigations, enforce our Gling Gling Pay Terms of Service or other relevant agreements or policies, or undertake any other actions in accordance with applicable laws.
YOUR CHOICES
As outlined below, you may have certain rights regarding your information. You can access, modify, or correct the information you have provided to us, control your location information, and choose to opt out of receiving promotional messages from Your Sellers.
Buyer Features
You can utilize our Gling Gling profile portal to opt out of receiving automatic digital receipt communications from all Your Sellers. Through our Gling Gling profile portal, you also have the option to opt out of receiving promotional emails from Your Sellers. Additionally, you can download, update, or delete your contact information that we have on record using the Gling Gling profile portal.
Moreover, you can always unsubscribe from or manage your preferences regarding digital receipts or marketing emails that we send on behalf of a Seller by following the instructions provided in those messages. Please note that opting out of communications may impact your use of the Buyer Features. If you choose to opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you transactional communications, such as digital receipts that you have requested.
Please note that Sellers’ Loyalty programs and promotional text message programs that you have enrolled in on a Seller-specific basis are not covered by Gling Gling’s Buyer Features. If you have signed up for a Seller’s Loyalty or text marketing program and wish to change your preferences, text STOP to discontinue receiving Loyalty and promotional text messages from that Seller or directly contact the Seller.
Gling Gling Pay
You have the ability to access, delete, or modify your Gling Gling Pay Information. However, please note that we may require additional information or documentation to verify your identity for such requests.
If you encounter any difficulties in removing or modifying your Gling Gling Pay Information, please contact our Help Center. If your Gling Gling Pay account is terminated or if you opt out of Gling Gling Pay, we will unlink and remove all of your Gling Gling Pay Information within a reasonable timeframe. However, if you have completed order transactions with a merchant that utilizes Gling Gling Pay, we will retain your Gling Gling Pay Information in order to provide services to the merchant and comply with applicable laws.
CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you are a child under 13, please don’t use our services. If we collect your data and later learn you are a child under 13, we will delete it.
Our services are general audience services not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under the age of 13. If we learn that any information we collect has been provided by a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that information.
